In order to retain employees, companies must recognize that the physical workplace is the most tangible testament it can make to its people. This requires intentional design with the cares and motivations of its employees in mind. Organisations must go beyond the fundamentals of facilitating connection and consider why we are bringing people back, to get to the root of what employees are looking for.
