  • S4 - EP 15 - BORN TO RAISE HELL: RICHARD SPECK
    Jun 11 2026

    Welcome to Season 4 – Episode 15!

In our final episode this season, we hitch a ride back to the summer of Chicago, 1966, to tear apart the horrific rampage of Richard Speck.

This is a breakdown of pure, random predation, and a deep-seated psychological complex against women. Speck systematically terrorized, bound, and slaughtered eight young student nurses in a single night.

Sixty years later, we are still asking: how did the system fail to stop him? It all came down to a single, courageous survivor who crawled under a bed and outlasted a nightmare.

The poison for this episode is The Chicago Wind.

If you want to drink with me, you’ll need rye whiskey, fresh lemon juice, demerara syrup, Angostura bitters, and a dry red wine float.

    The Chicago Wind

    • 2 oz Rye Whiskey
    • ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
    • ½ oz Demerara Syrup
    • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
    • Top with a Malbec or dry red wine float

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the rye whiskey, fresh lemon juice, demerara syrup, and bitters. Shake it hard until cold. Strain into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube. Gently pour the dry red wine over the back of a bar spoon so it floats on top.

    Enjoy!

  • S4 - EP 14 - ROBERT FISHER - WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE
    May 28 2026

    Welcome to Season 4 – Episode 14!

In this episode, we travel into the suffocating desert heat of Scottsdale, Arizona, to dissect the cold-blooded, meticulously calculated crimes of Robert William Fisher. To the outside world, he tried to project the image of a devoted family man, but behind closed doors, he was a volatile tyrant who operated under an obsession with absolute control over his household.

When the Fisher family home violently exploded into a wall of 20-foot flames on April 10, 2001, investigators uncovered a horror scene that the fire was specifically rigged to incinerate. Mary Fisher and her two young children hadn't died in the blast—they had been brutally executed in their beds hours before. Leaving behind a rigged gas line and a lit candle as a delayed fuse, Robert secured himself a ten-hour head start and vanished into thin air, landing himself a permanent spot on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list.

Twenty-five years later, with his truck found abandoned near a vast network of subterranean desert caves, we are still asking: did he die in the wilderness, or did he successfully pull off the ultimate vanishing act?

The poison for this episode is the The Arizona Statehood.

If you want to drink with me, you’ll need rye whiskey, Dubonnet Rouge, Gum Syrup, Angostura bitters, and ginger ale. Cherry for garnish.

    The Arizona Statehood

    • 1 oz Rye Whiskey
    • 1 oz Dubonnet Rouge (a fortified, wine-based aperitif)
    • 1 dash Gum Syrup
    • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
    • Top off with Ginger Ale
    • Garnish: 1 Cherry

Mix the rye, Dubonnet, gum syrup, and bitters together in a glass with ice. Fill the rest of the glass with ginger ale, stir gently, and drop a cherry on top

    Enjoy!

  • S4 - EP 13 - THE "SERIOUS MIND" OF DONALD PEE-WEE GASKINS
    May 21 2026

    Welcome to Season 4 – Episode 13!

In this episode, we travel to the backroads and coastal highways of South Carolina to dissect the staggering, chaotic crimes of Donald "Pee Wee" Gaskins. Standing at just 5'3", Gaskins was underestimated, yet he operated under a monstrous, self-styled philosophy he called his "Serious Mind" to become one of the most prolific serial killers in American history.

Gaskins defied standard criminal profiling by splitting his horrific career into distinct categories: from the impulsive "coastal killings" of hitchhikers and strangers to the calculated executions of people within his own social circle. But his reign of terror didn't stop behind bars.

His story is a chilling exploration of a severe inferiority complex transformed into a toxic obsession with absolute control. This episode discusses severe psychological manipulation, torture, and graphic violence. Listener discretion is heavily advised.

The poison for this episode is the Palmetto.

If you want to drink with me, you’ll need aged rum, sweet vermouth, and orange bitters.

    Palmetto

    • 2 oz Aged Rum
    • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
    • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
    • Orange twist for garnish

In a mixing glass, combine the aged rum, sweet vermouth, and orange bitters with ice. Stir well until perfectly chilled. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass, express the oils of an orange twist over the drink, and drop it in.

    Enjoy!
