On this episode of the Hunting Connection Podcast, I’m joined by Matt Wright from On Point Hunting Adventures. Matt is a passionate hunter with a particular love for chasing sambar deer behind his team of pointers. We first crossed paths at the Mansfield Hunting Expo in 2024 and have kept in touch ever since. Although it took us a few attempts to line this episode up, with life continually getting in the way, we finally managed to sit down for a chat—and it was well worth the wait. We dive into Matt’s hunting background, his passion for working dogs on sambar, and plenty of stories from the Victorian bush.
