Gareth and Esyllt's Scrapbook is available NOW on BBC Sounds! This is a brand new show for BBC Radio Wales. In each edition, we'll tackle two years in recent history with archive, music and guests. There are three episodes available now, featuring Josie Long, Sunil Patel, Claudine Boulstridge of Healthy Family Food Ideas, Miles Jupp and, still to come in the run, my (Gareth's) mum. Oh and there's clips appearing on Instagram and TikTok too in which my (Gareth's) face is almost permanently obscured.

Anyway, today's show is about June 2005. Gareth Gwynn has just handed in his final year project on "Viewpoint Invariant Content Based Image Retrieval for Urban Navigation" while The Queen inspected a naval fleet (footage of the evening celebrations are here). There's also key updates on car of the month, mayor of the month and proverb of the month.
