• #138: Pelvic Floor PTs ARE Orthopedic PTs - Specializing in Women's Health is the Key Difference
    Jun 29 2026

We both have this conversation with patients and clients so often that we are very overdue on making an episode about it! Physical Therapists all go to PT school and have the same extensive orthopedic training. The difference with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, is that they completed additional, and very in depth training, to specialize in all things related to the pelvis and women's health. Therefore, it doesn't make any sense for women in their child bearing years to see a traditional orthopedic PT for their hip pain, back pain, etc - when a Pelvic Floor PT is well trained to treat all of the same ortho needs, in additional to all things related to the pelvis, hips, back, pregnancy, postpartum, etc. It saves many women a lot of time and money going right to the PFPT who is able to look at the big picture at this phase of life, and treat accordingly!

    Jun 22 2026

The keyboard warriors have been out in full effect lately - posting anonymously and voicing their opinions of how small businesses choose to operate. In today's episode, we bring to attention the fact that communities need small businesses to thrive, and how easily social media comments can negatively influence how the pubic views a local business.

  • #136: Exercise While Dealing With Injuries - Should You Try to Keep Up Your Routine or Just Rest?
    Jun 15 2026

This is such a common conversation! Both of us often see patients and clients who are dealing with an injury, and also want to keep up with their fitness at the same time, and are unsure how to proceed. It can be scary, because it feels like rest is the safest thing to do. However, there is so much you can do to work on your rehab, work around the injury, and of course go harder with other body parts that shouldn't have to suffer from lack of training in the mean time!
