Parramatta Eels NRL coach Jason Riles rescued a woman trapped in her burning, overturned car on New Mount Pleasant Road in Wollongong while driving home after his team's loss to South Sydney. Riles and several other drivers worked together to smash through the car's glass using a metal bottle, successfully extracting the woman just three minutes before the entire vehicle became engulfed in flames. The incident occurred as Riles was travelling home on Thursday night following the match.
