• Wimbledon Day 12 - Sinner gets Djokovic revenge, Zverev ends Fery run to make back to back slam finals
    Jul 10 2026

Rinse and repeat! Jannik Sinner is back in the Wimbledon final, and Novak Djokovic's bid for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title is over once again. Join Joel and Kim at Tennis Weekly HQ as we react to Sinner's commanding straight-sets victory over Djokovic in a complete reversal of their Australian Open semifinal earlier this year, discuss whether the seven-time Wimbledon champion can still win another major, and ask whether the World No. 1 even needs to produce his very best tennis anymore to beat the Serbian legend.

We also break down Alexander Zverev's clinical victory over British wildcard Arthur Fery, reflect on an extraordinary fortnight for the home hope as he sets his sights on establishing himself on the ATP Tour, and debate the net-cord controversy that overshadowed the opening set. Elsewhere, we preview Sunday's blockbuster Wimbledon final between Sinner and Zverev—their first-ever meeting on grass—and explain why it could be far closer than their four meetings earlier this season suggest. Plus, we bring you the latest Collect A Set update.

  • Wimbledon Day 11 - Muchova saves match point to defeat Gauff in epic as Noskova sets up an all Czech final!
    Jul 9 2026

An all-Czech Wimbledon women’s final is set! At Tennis Weekly HQ, we react to one of the matches of The Championships as Karolina Muchova edges Coco Gauff in a nerve-shredding deciding-set tiebreak, debate whether Gauff's match-point drop shot will haunt her, and ask if we've just witnessed the WTA match of the season. We also discuss Linda Noskova's composed victory over Marta Kostyuk as the 21-year-old reaches her first Grand Slam final, guaranteeing yet another Czech women's champion at Wimbledon.

Elsewhere, Chris takes us behind the scenes at the All England Club with a chat from the Official Racket Service of Wimbledon at Aorangi with Babolat’s Lucien Noguess who has been stringing rackets at Wimbledon for 45 years (!), before we look ahead to a blockbuster day of men's semi-finals featuring Arthur Fery, Alexander Zverev, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic. But why are Fery and Zverev playing first despite having a day's less rest than Sinner and Djokovic? Naturally, we have a few thoughts...

  • Wimbledon Day 10 - British wild card Arthur Fery is into the semifinals + Kostyuk to face Noskova for final spot!
    Jul 8 2026

The FERYtale continues as the British player becomes the first Wild Card to make the semifinals since Goran Goran Ivanisevic won the title in 2001. In unbelievable scenes on Centre Court, Fery defeated No.9 Cobolli for the second time at a grand slam this year and completes the blockbuster semifinal line-up of Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev and ARTHUR FERY. Zverev defeated his bogeyman Taylor Fritz who was hampered by an ongoing knee injury but it marks new ground or Zverev who had never made it to a semifinal at SW19 before.

On the women’s side it was more firsts with Marta Kostyuk making back to back semifinals in Paris and Wimbledon and a huge breakthrough for Czech Linda Noskova who had a coming of age win against Elise Mertens on No.1 Court. Both players will be seeking to make their first grand slam final on Thursday and will face the winner of Coco Gauff and Karolina Muchova. What we do know for sure is that there will be a new Wimbledon champion come Saturday!

  • Wimbledon Day 9 - Djokovic wins longest Wimbledon quarterfinal, Gauff makes first semi + Muchova upsets Osaka!
    Jul 8 2026

Wimbledon's roof drama took centre stage and Centre Court as Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner locked in another blockbuster semi-final showdown in a major. At Tennis Weekly HQ, we react to Djokovic's eventful victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime, unpack the controversy surrounding Wimbledon's decision to close the Centre Court roof with daylight still available, and assess whether defending champion Jannik Sinner has found the level needed to stop the seven-time champion after seeing off Jan-Lennard Struff. We also discuss Alexander Zverev's views on the curfew debate after his match was carried over, plus why Taylor Fritz continues to have the German's number ahead of their quarter-final clash.

On the women's side, Coco Gauff battled past Jessica Pegula to reach her first Wimbledon semi-final, while Karolina Muchova ended Naomi Osaka's impressive run to set up a fascinating last-four meeting. We also hear from Gauff after her victory, debate whether Pegula let her biggest chance at a first major slip away, and preview tomorrow’s quarter-final action as British wildcard Arthur Fery looks to continue his remarkable fairytale against Flavio Cobolli.

    Jul 6 2026

Arthur Fery's Wimbledon FERY-TALE just keeps getting better! The British wildcard produced a stunning five-set comeback against Grigor Dimitrov to become the first home wildcard in the Open Era to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals. On the women's side, Alexandra Eala's dream Wimbledon run comes to an end against former finalist Jasmine Paolini, while Marta Kostyuk, Linda Noskova and Elise Mertens all reach their maiden Wimbledon quarter-finals as the draw continues to open up. • Wimbledon Day 7 - Osaka overpowers Sabalenka, Gauff beats the curfew + Djokovic tested by qualifier!
    Jul 6 2026

Naomi Osaka rolled back the years with a statement straight-sets win over world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, snapping records and streaks in a GRASSAKA masterclass to reach her first Wimbledon quarterfinal. Joel and Chris break down whether Osaka is now the woman to beat, plus we hear from Joel who caught up with Sabalenka straight after her defeat (and yes… there were sweaty palms involved). Jessica Pegula also keeps the American charge going, powering past rising star Iva Jovic to set up a blockbuster all-American clash with Coco Gauff.

On the men’s side, Novak Djokovic made history once again, overtaking Roger Federer for the most Wimbledon match wins after a gritty battle with Roman Safiullin, while Jannik Sinner and Felix Auger-Aliassime keep their title hopes alive after a five-set thriller and some very spicy post-match opinions (Fokina was NOT happy!). We also look ahead to Day 8, with Arthur Fery finally Centre Court-bound against Grigor Dimitrov and Alexandra Eala looking to back up her big win against Iga Swiatek.

  • Wimbledon Day 6 - Alex Eala upsets Swiatek, Dimitrov's run continues + Serena withdrawal!
    Jul 5 2026

Centre Court has a brand new breakout star, Wimbledon champions past and present are heading home, and Britain's dream run is still alive. Join Joel and Chris at Tennis Weekly HQ as we react to Alexandra Eala's stunning victory over defending champion Iga Swiatek as the Filipina becomes the first player from her country to reach the second week of a Grand Slam. We discuss whether Eala is now a genuine Wimbledon title contender, what went wrong for Swiatek, and why 2022 champion Elena Rybakina's grass-court dominance has suddenly deserted her after another shock exit. Elsewhere, Marta Kostyuk backed up her impressive Roland Garros showing and Ashlyn Krueger continued her form as the women's draw opened up even further in the bottom half.

On the ATP side, Arthur Fery produces the comeback of the day to reach the fourth round and keep British hopes alive, while Alexander Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov and Jiri Lehecka all progress. We also reflect on Serena Williams' emotional withdrawal from doubles with Venus and preview a blockbuster Day 7 featuring Aryna Sabalenka against Naomi Osaka - is it the match to decide where the women’s singles title is heading?

  • Wimbledon Day 5 - Djokovic + Sinner progress, Sabalenka outhits Ostapenko and will Serena play doubles?
    Jul 4 2026

On today’s Wimbledon Day 5 catch-up, we discuss Novak Djokovic battling past Arthur Rinderknech to equal Roger Federer’s all-time men’s singles wins record at Wimbledon with his 105th victory, while continuing his pursuit of an eighth title at SW19. We also look at Jannik Sinner’s most convincing performance of the tournament so far as he eased into the fourth round, and debate whether the defending champion is finally starting to justify his favourite status.

On the women’s side, Aryna Sabalenka produced a clinical display against Jelena Ostapenko to set up a mouth-watering Round 4 showdown with Naomi Osaka, who reached the second week at Wimbledon for the first time in her career. We hear from Osaka on her surprising preference for No.1 Court over Centre Court and discuss whether she can gain revenge on Sabalenka after their recent meeting in Paris. Elsewhere, we examine the controversy surrounding Wimbledon’s handling of Venus and Serena Williams’ doubles return, question whether special treatment is being given to the legendary sisters, assess why so many of the ATP’s rising stars have struggled on grass compared to Roland Garros, and look ahead to Day 6 with Britain’s Arthur Fery now the last home player standing in the singles draw.
