Maybe they are a kind of mind bridge, a psychological doorway where human consciousness steps into another realm through the architecture of the mind. Whatever they are, one thing seems clear: they represent liminal space. They are the in-between places. The places that should be empty, but are not. And more people are finding them.The movie The Backrooms explores this idea, whether the director fully realized it or not.
