    I discuss the Marian apparitions of Garabandal with Brother Richard. The 18th June 2026 marks 65 years since the apparition of Archangel Michael appeared to four girls aged between 10 and 12 and told them that the Blessed Virgin Mary would visit them. On 2nd July she appeared to the girls and for the following five years, mulititudes of Marian visitations were reported drawing thousands of people to the small hamlet in northern Spain where they witnessed the girls in ecstatic trance. I love this podcast, the only issue that I have is that sometimes the mic of the guest(s) doesn't have optimal performance and it is difficult to understand them.

Love this podcast for being so accessible and well presented. It has that beautiful balance of being completely relatable yet mysterious. Jo and her guests take the woo woo out of a subject that is so very real to many of us and placed it front and centre of the way we live today.

If you have an interest in fairies/folklore and the paranormal then stumbling across this podcast is like finding treasure. Jo is a wonderful host, with a soothing voice, and arguably one of the biggest names in the field of fairy/folklore research in the UK today. Her episodes are well thought-out, her interviews are fascinating and the love and respect that she has for the subject, and the people/stories discussed, shines through in every episode. I would highly recommend this podcast.
