In this transmission we journey to a small temple of light in the higher astral planes. There we begin to look into the astral body to activate the astral senses, to clear, cleanse, uplift and strengthen the astral body so that you can more safely and gracefully move through the astral planes.

In certain magical disciplines there was a focus on consciously building and refining a "body of light" to travel on the astral planes. This magical work was designed to make the astral body strong enough for traveling through the various planes.

The astral body is not something that naturally develops except through meditation and spiritual, emotional, and mental training. It can also be awakened through ‘certain’ experiences with psychedelic substances.

The Astral Body has an egg shaped aura that extends about 4 to 9 feet from the physical body.

Magical literature often describes the astral body being connected to the heart centre in the physical body by a "silver cord" which allows the consciousness to travel away from the physical plane and return.

Conscious, intentional, and controlled development of the astral body is an important step in spiritual advancement, allowing a being to travel to the higher planes to acquire knowledge and wisdom not readily available in the physical world.

The astral body is the means to travel the astral planes and is the lens through which lucid dreaming happens. The astral body, unlike the etheric body, survives the death of the physical body, and acts as a vehicle for the soul in the afterlife.

The astral body contains astral senses including: Clairaudience (astral hearing), Psychometry (astral touch/feeling), and Clairvoyance (astral sight).
