At Ada County Elections, our job is to help our community vote. Each day, we are driven by our mission to safeguard your trust by conducting fair and transparent elections. We are the largest elections office in Idaho, overseeing 197 precincts and serving approximately 300,000 registered voters on Election Day. Voting is an important right for all American citizens. We hope our work will make it easier for you to participate in this democratic process and vote.

What we do

Our team is here to serve the community. We wear many different hats and each day looks a little bit different. This list gives you an idea of the services we provide to Ada County:

• Administer all federal, state, county, city and taxing district elections in Ada County
• Maintain Ada County registered voters’ database
• Provide voter registration
• Conduct early voting and vote by mail programs
• Offer proof of residency for citizens
• Fill public information requests
• Help educate citizens about voting in Ada County

Hear We Have Idaho will focus on the issues and events that impact Idaho’s citizens and families.
