There’s a killer on the loose and a poltergeist locked in a lighthouse. Are the two things connected? When the infamous omen pops up, it seems one of the warring cheer coaches is in trouble. Rowan dedicates herself to finding who might have murder on the mind.

Harper Harlow has ghosts coming out of her ears. Between her regular jobs at Ghost Hunters, Inc. - and the secret her best friend Zander appears to be keeping - she has her hands full. Things only become more complicated when one of Whisper Cove's oldest residents comes knocking on the police department's door. It seems Annette Fleming decided to do some cleaning and while in the attic she found some photographs of a dead body, and she has no idea who the victim is or when she died.

Whisper Cove is stuck in a heat wave, although it's nothing compared to the fire stoking between Harper Harlow and Jared Monroe. They're happy and enjoying themselves...until a face from the past resurfaces. Jason Thurman and Harper had a brief fling in high school, and when he returns to town to open a restaurant he's hoping they can revisit their relationship as adults.

Maddie Graves is psychic and can see ghosts. When she returns to her home in Blackstone Bay following her mother's death, she has more to do than find peace with her past, she also has to try and reclaim the future she discarded when she left town after graduation. Her former best friend Nick Winters has been bitter since she walked away without a backward glance. A murder mystery throws them back together, and Maddie must decide if she can trust Nick with her biggest secret - and her heart.

The newly minted couple are in a good place, so when Jared asks Whisper Cove's favorite ghost hunter to go to Harsens Island to visit an old friend and his family, Harper jumps at the chance. Josh Stoker and Jared have a lot to catch up on, including the hard financial times the Stoker family is struggling to deal with. In an effort to keep their business empire afloat, the Stokers have turned their ancestral family home into an inn, and this week they just happen to be hosting a murder mystery event.

When a young girl goes missing on the way to her bus, Maddie Graves-Winters goes searching and finds the sort of mystery she never wanted to uncover. The girl, crying and shaking and talking about a monster, is okay when Maddie finds her. What they discover with the girl isn’t, however. When Maddie and her husband Nick were in high school, three teenagers went missing. Everybody assumed they fled to Detroit for some fun and never came back, but it turns out, they never left Blackstone Bay.

Hannah Hickok is about to get everything she ever wanted, including a husband, a house, and all the magic she can wave a hex at. She just has to get through the final battle to get her happily ever after. It won’t be as easy as she’s hoping. She’s determined, though, and the end is finally here. One way or another.
