With his secret out, Miles’ life has changed irrevocably. He is the center of a wave from the media that he had not anticipated. Both good and bad, Miles must now navigate the political structure of Point City.

Reeling from the conflict with the dwarves, Ken and several Haylon classes move to an event on the 28th floor of a dead branch of the dungeon to prepare for the raid. While he’s busy training, his grandparents give him his first mission to assess and carry out on his own. Between Ken’s time of scouting out and investigating his target, he runs in with the other three schools and learns he’s not the only ace damage dealer. Pendulum, Trusk and the Royal Academy all have a student that’s a head above the rest of their peers.

Ard is hunkering down in the mountains for the winter as the war cools with the snow. That means it’s time to practice his magic and stay out of trouble. Well… Ard might not be entirely proficient at the last one. At the very least, he’s staying away from the city and his penchant for annoying other people. Except that doesn’t work out so well when he’s forced to attend a ball held by the Brighthavens, though they’ll certainly regret forcing Ard’s attendance.

The war is over, but the fallout is palpable. Ard finds himself back in the capital of Avente as tensions rise, lines are drawn, and he wants absolutely nothing to do with it. All Ard desires is some relaxation. After visiting his family, he finds a convenient excuse to escape to Zenovia. However, he soon finds himself entangled in a different political beast. This one is far more entertaining for Arden, who is trapped in the Zenovian palace while a mysterious force is assassinating potential heirs.

A former villain is living a quiet life, hidden among the masses. Miles has one big secret: He might just be the most powerful super in existence. Those days are behind him. But when a wounded young lady unable to control her superpower needs his help, she shatters his boring life, pulling him into the one place he least expected to be—the Bureau of Superheroes.

Bran returns to Vein City to find Gloria jealous that he came back with Nyx and Circe. While trying to solve that, Vincent becomes even pushier about entering the Vault. When going to open it, Bran discovers that this life has changed yet again. For whatever reason, they had gotten perilously close to cracking the Vault on their own and drawing all the future heroes of the First Demon War in a demonic trap. It's up to Bran to make sure they all make it out alive while reaping as much reward as he can from the Vault.

Ard joins the war with an explosive start, the Garrish army is marching through the pass to the ruined Chillwind Fort. The only defenders are Ard and company to hold out until reinforcements can arrive. Though his accolades are too startling and he draws the attention of The King only for General Trevis to swoop in and send Ard on a mission behind enemy lines. He's to stir up the populace of their rival kingdom to rebellion.

Ken and party are training with his grandparents, preparing themselves to the next semester of Haylon. Yet, even after the Gransmens' deaths there are still plots from the Kaiming targeting Ken. After thwarting an attack on him at the Nagato Clan, Ken heads back to Haylon to get the strength he needs. After all, at the end of this semester, Crimson owes him almost a week of personal training and she sets ambitious goals for him. If he can complete them, he'll be going to the Elven World for summer break. Now Ken just needs to get rid of all these magazines that are cluttering up his inventory!

Isaac sets off ahead of the rest of his family with Kat and his mana beasts. No matter how much he'd practiced with immortal mana before venturing into the immortal world hadn’t prepared him for it, and his first bumbling steps into the new world have him collared and sold to a brothel. Those who did this to him will pay dearly for underestimating him. Isaac plots his escape and the new path in cultivation as he makes plans to break through to his fifth ring and seek revenge.

Ken and company come back from summer break after arduous training for their third year at Haylon. No longer are they the fresh adventurers that once didn’t know the right end of the sword. Instead they have settled into Star City among the Orkai and are thriving deep within the dungeon and even locating trails for the class to get powerful new abilities.

Ken returns from the Elven World to another year at Haylon College. Yet, attitudes towards training have changed, the Naga attack has shifted priorities the world over and Ken finds himself and his fellow classmates pushed harder than ever before. The big four colleges no longer are going to focus on survival of their students, it’s time to push them and let the strongest shine. Which would be okay for Ken, if a new problem hadn’t cropped up. A monster that doesn’t appear in any of the records has been stalking him through the dungeon. The answer to it, might actually lie in Crimson’s past.

Isaac's story continues. He knows being a mage is more than just simple luck. His mother tipped the dice in his favor. But that's ended. Lucky can only carry you so far. Arriving at the Ferrymen Sect, he hopes to ignite a war between the corrupt mages and those sworn to defend to the average person. But he finds the world of Sects more complex than he'd hoped. With Ken on the run and Crimson missing, he goes to the Elven world with Neldra and Fayeth to hide out until Crimson returns. Lady Rendral isn’t quite what he expected, her reclusive life leads her to happily accept Ken and Fayeth for the summer. But the future Empress of the Elven people isn’t without her own struggles. Political opponents push her and she hires Ken to dig up some dirt on those who would stymie her goals. Ken can see her struggle and works with Lady Rendral to topple her opposition.

Ard and his anchors are off to the capital, but not without his Congratulations—you’re-a-mage horse. Ard has to figure out what it means to be a noble as he struggles with the politics of the capital, fierce beasts and even fiercer rivals. All the while a goddess slips into his household as the staff and works to watch over him and his mother.

With Miles's encouragement, Melody had accepted the physical changes wrought by ingesting monster fruit. But now, it was time to help her through everything else. In the wake of the attack on Point City by Daeva, the military had devised a plan to insert Melody into Daeva's stronghold. To gain entry, Melody would have to use her new looks and put her best villain act on.

Back in the game, Ajax, Missy, and Sky make it to the human capital of Tyren only to find themselves on trial for the dead merchants. Putting them on trial, the king of Tyren has enough awareness to know that players are different than his townspeople. He tasks Ajax to forge a party and conquer a dungeon plaguing the catacombs. But first, Ajax needs to fill out his party. He needs a great team if he’s going to become a professional gamer at the upcoming conference.

Miles is at New Haven, hoping to figure out more about Monster Fruit and Daeva. But he finds more than he expected, a community and a sense of peace as he stops hiding his powers. Meanwhile, Stella flourishes and continues to rope more girls in to make Miles smile brighter.

Isaac has one last step to reunite with his family. Politics aside, it is everything he could have hoped. Only he won’t allow them to define his life. Despite their wishes for him to rest and raise a family, trouble springs anew. He isn’t one to let things go when one of his women is in trouble. Isaac sets off on one last mission against the wishes of his family—only to find more than he could have ever expected. The fate of his family rests in his hands. If only he can put all the pieces together and come out on top of one last adventure.
