In Search of a Right-Brained Computer is the story of my search to find a computer for my right-brained wife. Since I'm left-brained, this was perhaps a futile attempt. Yet I pursued it. What I found was what makes right- and left-brained people ask the same questions while asking different questions. I explore each of the main questions one might ask when purchasing a computer. I then go through a computer system I designed in an attempt to design a right-brained computer. Then I analyze where it came close to meeting its mark and where it fell short.

In audiobook three of the Wizard Without a Wand series, Oscar Henry spends his summer trying to figure out how he can possibly earn enough money to return to Wizard School. His folks could have possibly figured out how to cope with either his enormity or his gentleness, one or the other. But they can’t figure out how to cope with both. Ducker went through life snapping his toes. I suspect you think that that sounds a bit gross and it might be a bit painful. And you’re also under that impression that that might be just a little bit too much information. Perhaps it’s something which you’d rather not know. And since Ducker really liked to snap his toes. While Satoru is writing his boukenshousetsu, another story is weaving its way through his life, doing bizarre things to his body. Satoru tries to keep his kibyou (strange disease) hidden from his girlfriend, Julie. Meanwhile, Satoru's best friend, David, is trying to find a way for Satoru to finally be free of this curse.

They say that some people would walk through hell for love. Would you? Well maybe you would, you’re just crazy enough to do something so foolish as that. But how many horrors would someone be willing to face for love? And why, oh why, would she travel to the home of the Dzhardes? They aren’t even lovable! But she did. And believe it or not, so might you.

In this first title of the series, we meet this wizard without a wand - Shmedley Thrumbledack - and his closest friends in their first year at Wizard School. This Wizard School is so expensive that Shmedley's parents run out of money buying his supplies and don't have enough left over to buy him a wand.

So, now Bob and Dilly had been best friends for a few days. They were playing in Bob's yard. They were playing trucks and "hide to the count of three" and "run this way and that" and "hide facing the house" and neat things like that. They were trying to think of what to play next. What would you want to play next? Bob yelled, "Run for your life! The Huggers are coming!" And Bob and Dilly ran for their lives.

Ever dreamed of owning a restaurant? I know I have. I think owning a restaurant would be fun. But it would require a lot of hours and a lot of work. So I settle for dreaming about restaurants I'd like to eat at.

Shortly after the turn of the century, my wife, Terry, and I moved to the mountains of Colorado. Shortly after that, I wrote this humorous story about our lives and how my hero wife lived in spite of the debilitating illness of MCS - multiple chemical sensitivity. Terry lives with the severe face pain, the mind fog, the lack of energy. And she swears every time she's out for a walk and somebody is doing their laundry with some fragrant detergent - her biggest bane. Sometimes she falters and doesn't bear it well, but to me, she's always a hero. This is her story.

Sing Ho was innocently walking down the street minding his own business. Then he noticed a FedEx truck driving down the street. There was nothing unusual about today. There was nothing unusual about the Fedex truck. The normal amount of people were milling about. The normal number of cars and trucks were on the road. There was the normal number of buildings.
