In a faraway land, a slave named Valxika of Demir is sold to a cruel merchant who uses her otherworldly beauty for his own purposes. However, Valxika is more than just a slave; she is a sorceress, and slowly, she learns to regain her power in a way that will make the merchant and everyone else suffer for hurting her. In time, Valxika will become a nightmare to all who harm others.

Four friends and their former teacher go on vacation to spend a few weeks at the scenic Beavers Bend State Park in Southeastern Oklahoma; planning to enjoy summer before going off to college. When an unexpected accident soon forces them to be stranded in the backwoods, the group decides to walk back to the highway.

This vacation is to a rural mountain cabin for two days to try to overcome the loss of their father after an untimely demise from cancer. Joining the family is the daughter's boyfriend and the brother's best friend. However, the Stone family will soon learn they are not the only ones on the mountain and the unknown neighbors are brutal, murderous cannibal hillbillies with a misinformed sense of ownership of the mountain.
