Considered eccentric, Garnet Allan has lived all alone on the remote station bordering the sea ever since the mysterious disappearance of his young and beautiful wife many years before.

In this first book, young Gabrielle Allan (called Gay) is living contentedly on Drovers Road, her uncle Dunsany’s sheep station in the hill country a hundred miles from Gisborne. Besides her young, bachelor uncle there are her three orphaned cousins - Eve, Hugh and Merry - and their great-aunt Belle. Taken in by Dunsany years before, after her parents’ divorce, Gay now scarcely remembers any other life.

This is a wonderful, simple audiobook about Popsicles and the recipes for making simple and easy-to-make icy treats. It has been written by eight-year-old Nodi Khan; this is her first ever published work. The audiobook is great for kids of all ages during summer, or any season, really. It is full of funny writing by a very young, lovely, and upcoming writer.
