And, being a former Girl Scout who sang the camp song about ‘Old Lady O’Leary’ as a little girl, I wondered often if the story was made up or real,” the artistpreneur confesses.

A nostalgic story of a contemporary tragedy, Jaza penned this work to showcase the bonds created within families despite the bad experiences during (and scars remaining throughout) childhood and adulthood.

A modern story inspired by the style of popular fairy tales from centuries past and contemporary retellings, Jaza wrote TUCKED AWAY to remind adults and children of the importance of paying attention, being brave, and showing kindness to yourself and others. “There are a lot of lessons stressed to children that many adults have yet to learn, or apply if they proclaim to have learned these lessons already,” Mylia explains.
