Andrea Gabriel is an author and illustrator whose work includes contemporary fiction, children's picturebooks, and speculative fiction. She wrote and illustated My Favorite Bear, with her illustration work appearing in more than ten published titles from publishers including Albert Whitman & Co., Dawn Publications, and Sasquatch Books. The illustrated Where Do I Sleep? garnered the PNBA Award. She has worked as a writing coach at The Narrative Project and works with select private clients. Andrea is a member of The Authors' Guild, Chippewa Valley Writers' Guild, and The Red Wheelbarrow Writers. She was a longtime member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Andrea lives in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and is currently working on The Confluence, a cozy romantasy/mystery smashup, and Fall of the Star Queen, sequel to her first epic fantasy novel, Flight of the Sunsparrow.
