Elle Blair taught English for over two decades before completing her debut novel, In Deep Water, on the Crime Fiction MA at the University of East Anglia, graduating with Distinction in 2025. She also writes children’s fiction, and her middle-grade debut, Robyn Hoodie, publishes with Andersen Press in February 2027. Elle lives with her family by the sea in Whitley Bay and spends ninety-nine percent of her time watching her three children play football. The love/bane of her life is her French bulldog, Yoda, who chews books faster than she can read them.
