I write fantasy and historical fiction. My latest novella, The Storyteller’s Amulet is the second in a series of three novellas under the umbrella title of The Dark Stranger. The first in the series is called The Rue Stone, the tropes for this first book are, chosen one, hidden artifact, enchanted forest and magical creatures. The Storyteller’s Amulet, has tropes including, prophecy lovers, hidden identity and sapphic intimacy. The final novella of the series, working title, The Silver Heart will tell the story of a girl living in isolation and terrified of her own nature, believed to be one of the last silver heart women who, when rage touches them, turns into a fabled wolf. A warrior is sent to destroy her, but instead he becomes the one person who sees her for what she is, a woman betrayed by her own kind. The tropes are mythic, moon-touched, wolf-adjacent, enemies to lovers. This novella will be complete by the end of the year. These novellas are ideal to be read whilst curled up on a bookish day and can be #readinanafternoon. The audible version of The Rue Stone is now available.
