Lee Matthews is an accomplished entrepreneur, success coach, former Paratrooper and World Kickboxing Champion. With over 25 years of experience in the martial arts industry, Lee has trained multiple World Champions and opened over 200 martial arts schools, building the UK's biggest chain of centres. Growing up in the council estates of Telford in Shropshire, Lee faced many challenges that he overcame through martial arts training. As a teenager, he was in constant physical altercations and was beaten up by a gang of older lads when he was 14. This experience motivated him to do whatever he needed to become stronger and build himself up so this wouldn’t happen again. Lee started competing in kickboxing and achieved great success, as a teenager he won many national and international titles. Lee's determination and resilience led him to join the UK’s elite Parachute Regiment, where he became a Physical Training Instructor (PTI) for recruits and developed the mindset and outlook that would guide him through the rest of his life. When he left the military, Lee combined his skills as a Paratrooper, PTI, and Kickboxer to create his organisation, "British Military Martial Arts," (BMMA) and develop his own training courses and syllabus. Lee represented Great Britain with (WAKO) World Association of kickboxing Organisations for over 10 years and won multiple British, European and World titles in Various associations. Over the years, Lee fine-tuned the selection, training, and school launch processes, and helped hundreds of instructors through the training course he had developed. He learned more about business and continued to surround himself with people more successful than him, using the knowledge he gained to help his team and students. Lee's passion for helping others succeed and building a community of support for entrepreneurs, led him to write a book outlining his training processes and the mindset required to succeed. Today, Lee runs multiple 7-figure businesses, using his vast experience in life, leadership, and top-level sports coaching to deliver training courses and mentoring through his training company, "Elite." His courses give entrepreneurs and martial arts instructors the skills and mindset to succeed in business and life. Lee's personal story is a testament to the power of martial arts training, determination and hard work, and he continues to inspire others to achieve their goals and build successful businesses.
