Mark Paine Fisher is an author, storyteller, entrepreneur, and founder of Inspiring Growth, but the story that shaped him began long before any of that. He was five years old when his father, Captain Robert T. Paine, a U.S. Air Force officer, died in a 1966 plane crash. One of Mark’s clearest memories is his father kneeling beside him, teaching him to tie his shoes. He never knew it would be the last lesson. There was no goodbye. For nearly sixty years, Mark thought that loss was simply something in his past. Then unanswered questions pulled him into a search for the man behind the uniform, a journey that became The Paine Protocol, a Cold War thriller based on true events. He set out to discover what happened to his father. What he didn’t expect was to discover himself. Mark is the father of five and “Papa” to seven grandchildren.
