Matilda Reyes writes with a wicked red pen and a soft spot for characters who bite back. The Black Cauldron Detective Agency revised edition, and both new series are penciled in for 2027-2028. Before planting roots in Costa Rica, Matilda wrote her way across the United States, logging time on both coasts and making regular appearances at comic conventions as a vendor, panelist, and enthusiastic discusser of craft, creative influences, and an ever-multiplying TBR pile. Now she lives the Pura Vida life, drawing daily inspiration from volcanoes, coffee fields, and coastlines. Her loyal beta reader and co-conspirator through every twist and spell?
