Osman Gjepali was born in Albania and grew up in Italy. Over the years, he has lived in several European countries, where he pursued his studies and professional work. He is currently based in Northern Europe. With a background in engineering, he has a strong interest in geopolitics, economics, psychology, and the relationship between power, technology, and the individual. He writes dystopian works that explore power, conflict, and the systems that shape societies. Drawing inspiration from classic works, his stories use timeless, anthropomorphized worlds to examine modern themes — perpetual war, economic imbalance, social control, and collective belief. His fiction is designed to be accessible yet unsettling, inviting readers to question not only the worlds on the page, but the one they inhabit. His published works include Thirst for War and Cash or Card?, part of an ongoing series of standalone allegorical stories, while his third work, Artificial Farm, is currently in development.
