Simonetta Corrado, independent author and copywriter, was born in Brindisi and lives in Verona. She holds a degree in Modern Literature and a Master's in Communication and Copywriting, and has created advertising campaigns for well-known brands. She works as a business consultant and leads original workshops in creative writing and storytelling. Following *DONNE PRIVATE. 12 ritratti su carta* (*PRIVATE WOMEN. 12 Portraits on Paper*), the novel *PRESENTE. Trilogia del viaggio breve* (*PRESENT. The Short Journey Trilogy*), and the novella *IL SIGNOR B* (*MR. B*), she returns with a new collection, *IL SALE NEL CAFFÈ. Nove storie maleducate* (*SALT IN THE COFFEE. Nine Misbehaving Stories*). These stories are populated by “family-sized monsters” who defy categorization, except perhaps as profoundly human. Driven by sharp irony yet capable of unexpectedly moving the reader, the collection portrays the fragilities of our time with clarity, insight, and without judgment. All of her works have been presented at the Salonte Internazionale del Libro di Torino.
