Tessa Forshaw, PhD, is a cognitive scientist and founding scholar of the Next Level Lab at Harvard University, where she studies how people work, learn, and innovate. She combines her academic research with hands-on experience as a former designer at IDEO CoLab and Accenture, translating the science of design and creativity into practical tools for everyday work. Tessa has taught design and innovation at Stanford's d. school, the Harvard Innovation Lab, and Harvard University DCE. Her work has been recognized with multiple design awards, including Fast Company's Design Award for General Excellence and Core77's Industrial Design Award. She holds degrees from the Australian National University (BA), Stanford University (MA), and Harvard University (PhD).
