Atlanta-based CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and money educator Wes Moss has devoted his professional life to helping Americans understand how they can retire sooner than they think. He is the author of five books, including You Can Retire Sooner Than You Think, What The Happiest Retirees Know, and his latest—The Retire Sooner Method. Utilizing a wide variety of media platforms, Wes teaches readers, listeners, and viewers how they, too, can retire sooner and with greater confidence. Wes is the host of Ask An Advisor on the Clark Howard Podcast, a weekly show where he answers listener questions around investing and retirement. He's also the host of Money Matters, a weekly radio call-in show on 95.5 WSB in Atlanta, and the host of the Retire Sooner Podcast, which is dedicated to helping people work toward retiring sooner. He is frequently featured in financial media, a regular contributor to Forbes digital, and appears regularly on local and national news. Wes is a Managing Partner and the Chief Investment Strategist at Capital Investment Advisors (CIA), a fee-only SEC registered investment advisory firm with over 8 billion dollars in assets under management (AUM as of 12/31/2025). Wes Moss lives in Atlanta with his wife, Lynne, and their four boys. His core pursuits include golf and coaching his boys’ lacrosse teams.
