    What happens when two people on opposite sides of the world, with completely different lives and struggles, arrive at many of the same conclusions about healing, self-worth and recovery?

    In this episode of The After The Fall Show, I sit down with author, hiker, nomad and creator of the Self-Care Savage movement, Scott Tatum of YouCan Outdoors.

    After a childhood shaped by abuse, decades of self-sabotage, people-pleasing and feeling like he was never enough, Scott reached a point where he had given up on himself. Then he found a trail.

    What followed was a journey that would see him walk thousands of miles, tackle the Appalachian Trail, build an audience of hundreds of thousands and discover a simple truth:

    Know Your Worth.

    Together we explore childhood trauma, self-worth, survival mode, personal responsibility, journaling, nature as therapy, mental health, healing through movement and why so many people feel disconnected from themselves in today's world.

    In this episode of After The Fall Show, I’m joined by Dom — someone I’ve personally worked with — for one of the rawest and most honest conversations we’ve had on the show so far.

    From being bullied as a child, through confusion around sexuality, isolation, suicide attempts, pressure, identity, and the fear of disappointing the people around him, Dom shares the reality of what it felt like trying to survive while carrying everything alone.
