    Mallory May and Blythe Harris are lifelong creativity advocates, design thinkers and mess makers who have spent their careers helping others connect with their innate creativity.     Dr. Alison Hermann, MD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College-New York Presbyterian Hospital and a board member of the Marce& Society of North America (MONA). She specializes in Reproductive Psychiatry and is the Director of the Women's Mental Health Program at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Hermann is an internationally recognized expert in conditions such as postpartum depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and mental health struggles associated with menopause. She is known for her integrative, collaborative, and culturally competent approach to patient care.

    Beyond caring for patients, Dr. Hermann has devoted much of her career to advocating for women who struggle with mental health conditions associated with a reproductive life transition, and for teaching other medical professionals how to provide top-notch care for these illnesses.

    For her research, Dr. Hermann has focused on developing digital technologies to improve women's mental healthcare and articulating ethical frameworks for the safe and appropriate use of these technologies. Dr. Hermann lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and son. When not at work, she enjoys gardening and cheering on her son while he plays soccer. Dr. Hermann joins us on The Vault to dispel myths around antidepressant use during and after pregnancy, to discuss how hormones play a role in our mental health and well-being and to discuss the unique challenges and treatments for women’s mental health.
