  • 'The Mindful Soldier' Ash Alexander-Cooper OBE on Resilience, Fatherhood & Belonging
    Jun 21 2026

Ash Alexander-Cooper OBE is a former British Army Colonel and officer in the Royal Gurkha Rifles. He completed eight tours of Afghanistan and spent seven years deployed in some of the world's toughest environments.

He’s also a world-championship athlete, and international musician.

This conversation isn't really about war, though.

    It's about resilience. Belonging. Fatherhood.

We discuss Ash's turbulent childhood, finding belonging in teams, the realities of combat, leadership under pressure, and why resilience isn't something you're born with, but something you build.

We also explore the ideas behind his new book, Mindful Soldier, including "the second arrow", getting outside your comfort zone, and practical ways to navigate life's toughest moments.

A thoughtful conversation about adversity, belonging, and what it really takes to keep moving forward with an extraordinary human being.

  • The Confidence Expert: Why Success Wasn't Making Me Happy (and how to Build REAL Confidence)
    Jun 18 2026

Kirsty Hulse is a speaker, entrepreneur and one of the UK's leading experts on confidence and influence.

It looked like she had it 'all. Then, within the space of three days, she lost her husband, her home and her business.

In this conversation, we explore how she rebuilt her life after everything fell apart.

We talk about why success wasn't making her happy, and what she learned from walking away from a profitable company she'd spent years building.

We talk about growing up working class in Stoke, getting doors slammed in her face, rejection, burnout, public speaking, stand-up comedy, entrepreneurship, identity, and the surprising truth about confidence.

The truth is: confidence isn't something you're born with.

It's something you build. Learn how in this incredible conversation.

  • The Cutoff Culture Epidemic Nobody Wants to Talk About: Tania Khazaal
    Jun 14 2026

Around 1 in 4 people are estranged from a family member.

Tania Khazaal believes we're living through a family estrangement epidemic - and a silent epidemic at that.

One fuelled by social media, modern culture, and our growing inability to have difficult conversations.

After becoming estranged from her own mother, Tania eventually rebuilt that relationship and now helps others do the same.

We discuss family estrangement, forgiveness, accountability, healing, why she challenged Oprah publicly, and what becomes possible when people stop asking who's right and start asking how to move forward.

A fascinating conversation about one of the biggest issues nobody seems to be talking about.

Subscribe wherever you watch or listen - it makes a huge difference to me and the success of the show.
