  • Evergreen - Revived for a Summer Run - Conscious Living on Empower Radio
    Jun 26 2026

A blast from the past: some of my original Conscious Living shows are being featured in the special limited-time revival of Empower Radio.

I have no idea which titles were selected, so this is a true archive surprise. These episodes are presented as-is — original content, recorded live, free of edits, and very much from the moment. Gasp! And yes, that photo is… dated. Gasp x2.

Empower Radio began in 2007 as an idea scribbled on the back of a receipt after lunch: what if radio could be used to raise consciousness and connect with people in a deeper, more meaningful way?

Founder Brent Carey brought that idea to life in 2009, launching Empower Radio as an internet station in Northern Michigan. Live shows were later made available as “shows on-demand” before most listeners were familiar with the word podcast. Over time, Empower became one of the early national podcast networks offering subscription-based shows focused on personal growth, spirituality, health, wellness, and conscious living.

After 13 years as an online radio station and podcast network, Empower paused in 2022 and later evolved into The Empower Channel in 2024, expanding its mission through video on YouTube, Facebook, X, and Substack.

Now, in celebration of Empower’s 17th anniversary, Empower Radio is back for a limited time, streaming a curated mix of inspiring conversations from 2009 through today — including archive episodes from longtime hosts, plus new weekly episodes from Bonnie Wirth and Lisa Campion.

I’m honored to have Wendy’s Coffeehouse included in this revival and grateful to be part of Empower’s larger mission: positive media created to inform, uplift, and inspire curiosity.

UPDATE: When the site paused in 2022, we were given the option to remove shows we wanted to keep because the archive would be retired. New life - and new discovery! Spotify has my Empower Radio Conscious Living shows. Gasp x3!

Empower Radio aired 10 years of my interviews with guests. What a great surprise to find this archive is still available. I am so glad it survived. Names and show descriptions are all saved.

Summary: This video is a 2015/16 archival broadcast of Wendy's Coffee House, a talk radio program exploring UFO phenomena and the intersection of dreams and psychology. In this segment, host Wendy shares UFO-related news headlines before interviewing guest JM DeBord (also known as Jason), a renowned Reddit dream interpreter and author of the Dream Interpretation Dictionary.

Part 1: UFO News and Headlines (0:41 – 8:34) Wendy discusses several topics related to unidentified aerial phenomena:

    • Roswell 70th Anniversary: Discussion of upcoming events in Roswell and the persistence of UFO witness reports (1:47).
    • Project Blue Book: The History Channel's series project involving Robert Zemeckis and the historical case files of Dr. J. Allen Hynek (5:20).
    • UFO Roadside Attractions: A spotlight on Jody Pendarvis and his UFO-themed display in Bowman, South Carolina (4:07).
    • Robert Bigelow: A mention of the billionaire's contributions to space exploration and the study of UFOs (6:56).

Part 2: Interview with Dream Interpreter JM DeBord (8:34 – 40:30) Jason explains his methodology for interpreting dreams, emphasizing that they are personal stories rather than fixed definitions:

    • The Symbolic Approach: Jason stresses the importance of analyzing the setting, characters, and actions within a dream to find personal meaning (31:26). He cautions against relying on one-size-fits-all dream dictionaries (13:33).
    • Visitation Dreams vs. Metaphors: Jason discusses how to distinguish between a metaphorical dream (related to grief or personal growth) and a potential spiritual visitation. He notes that visitation dreams often feature the deceased in their prime, convey messages of love, and sometimes provide unknown information (21:16).
    • Dream Myths: Jason debunks the common myth that dying or hitting the ground in a dream results in real-life death, sharing his own personal experience where a falling dream symbolized hitting 'rock bottom' and prompted a major life change (34:10).
    • Community Impact: Jason shares how he began his work on Reddit (the r/Dreams subreddit) to help people navigate their subconscious and why he believes understanding dreams is a powerful tool for personal development (26:40, 30:44).

  • Elly Flippen on Ingo Swann, ET Contact, and the Cautionary Side of Perception 2/2
    Jun 4 2026

In Part 2 of my conversation with author Elly Flippen, we move into the more esoteric side of Ingo Swann’s work — including remote viewing the planets, UFOs and UAPs, non-human entities, and the complicated nature of contact experiences.

Ingo Swann is widely known as an artist, author, and remote viewing pioneer, but his explorations extended far beyond laboratory perception studies. His work touched the edges of anomalous contact, intelligence beyond the human frame, and encounters that were not always comfortable — or easily explained.

Elly shares that there is a downside to contact experience that has not been given enough attention. Not every encounter is benevolent. Not every presence is what it appears to be. And not every open door is easy to close.

Drawing from Ingo’s writings, his website, and Elly’s own work, this conversation asks a deeper question: What kind of preparation, discernment, and grounding are needed before engaging the unseen? Curious about Ingo's explorations. Elly has created a wonderful archive. IngoSwann.com is an excellent resource.
