Weihnachten! Davon hat noch niemand in Bikini Bottom gehört. Bis Sandy allen vom Fest der Liebe berichtet. SpongeBob ist so angetan davon, dass er in diesem Jahr auch Weihnachten feiern will. Mit allem was dazu gehört. Allmählich geht das Weihnachtsfieber um und als es soweit ist, warten die Bewohner von Bikini Bottom sehnsüchtig auf den Weihnachtsmann, der ihnen all ihre Wünsche erfüllen soll. Sie warten lange. Zu lange. Schließlich beschweren sie sich bei dem verdatterten Schwamm. Zum Glück zeigt sich, dass SpongeBob doch Recht hatte. Es gibt den Weihnachtsmann.

Der Splitter. SpongeBob zieht sich einen Splitter im Daumen zu, der sich entzündet, woraufhin er Schwierigkeiten im Umgang mit seinem Arbeitsgerät bekommt. Thaddäus droht, den Kollegen beim Chef anzuschwärzen. SpongeBob bekommt die nackte Panik - vor lauter Angst, früher nach Hause geschickt zu werden... Flötentöne. SpongeBob und Patrick nerven Thaddäus mit ihren Lotusflöten, deren Klang alles Meeresgetier zwingt, sich im Rhythmus der Klänge zu bewegen. Irgendwann kommt Thaddäus aber auch auf den Geschmack.

Der fliegende Schwamm (1) + (2). SpongeBob ist mal wieder beim Quallenfischen. Er grübelt nach und muss zugeben, dass er am liebsten mit den Quallen davon schweben würde. Aber Schweben und Fliegen wollen erst einmal gelernt sein. Gemeinsam mit Patrick probiert er jede nur erdenkliche Form des Fliegens aus. Zum Beispiel konstruieren die beiden ein Flugzeug. Auch an einem Drachen versuchen sie sich. Doch alle Versuche bleiben erfolglos. Bob will seinen Plan schon aufgeben, da gerät sein Föhn durch Zufall in seine Hose.

Thaddäus, der Riese. Nachdem übermäßigen Einsatz von Düngemitteln mutiert Thaddäus zum Riesen. Dies ruft bei der Einwohnerschaft von Bikini Bottom Angst und Schrecken, aber bald auch den Volkszorn hervor. Der riesige Thaddäus muss nun ausdauernd unter Beweis stellen, dass er kein böses Monster ist... Eine Nase für Patrick. Da Patrick kein Riechorgan hat, fühlt er sich benachteiligt. Die plastische Chirurgie behebt dieses Problem allerdings umgehend.

Spongikus. Plankton will etwas ganz neues schaffen: Er reißt sein Restaurant ab und stellt an dessen Stelle eine kolossale Kampfarena. Zum Auftakt lockt er mit freiem Eintritt und dem Verspechen auf ein blutiges Spektakel unter anderem auch alle Gäste der Krossen Krabbe an. Triumphiert Plankton dieses Mal? Sinfonie in Arzt-Dur. Thaddäus nimmt am Kompositionswettbewerb des Sinfonieorchesters von Bikini Bottom teil. Doch sowohl seine Inspiration als auch seine Konzentration werden von SpongeBobs und Patricks lautstarken Arztspielen stark beeinträchtigt.

Der sechzehnte Geburtstag. Mr. Krabs will seiner Tochter, der Walkuh Perla, den schönsten Geburtstag aller Zeiten bereiten. Während er die Party vorbereitet, wird SpongeBob dazu verdonnert, mit Perla ins Einkaufszentrum zu schwimmen. Der Schwamm soll unauffällig in Erfahrung bringen, was als Geburtstagsgeschenk für Perla in Frage kommt.
